EYL 365 Project provides an immersive environment that supports creativity, inspires innovation, fosters connection, and empowers young change agents to pursue their creative advocacy goals for themselves and their communities.
About Us
The EYL 365 PROJECT conception and organization was inspired by the Flint, Michigan Water Crisis in April 2014. The founder, Candice Napper, took it upon herself to volunteer her services to educate the youth in Washington, DC about the crisis and the importance of encouraging and instilling strength in others in their time of need through the form of ART.
The students pictured in the photos below were inspired to create poetry, paintings, sculptures, and handwritten letters to the students in Flint, Michigan. More than 300 pieces of artwork were collected by Candice and her volunteers from elementary and high-school students of the DMV area as well as International middle school as far away as Spain. Candice hand delivered the artwork to the students of Freeman and Eisenhower Elementary in Flight, Michigan.
We continue to GIVE BACK every day as it is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life.
We believe working towards a goal and making contributions to society will likely increase your sense of purpose in life, which contributes to both psychological and physical health.
